STAGE 1 · الفِطْرَة
Fiṭra (The Primordial Nature)
The inner disposition God placed at birth — the primordial human structure inclined to divine unity, justice, and beauty. The entire journey narrates our drift from this initial 'setting' and our return to it.
ANCHOR VERSE
So direct your face toward the religion, inclining to truth. [Adhere to] the fitrah of Allah upon which He has created [all] people. No change should there be in the creation of Allah. That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know
— Rûm 30:30
PRACTICE
Guarding the fiṭra: sleep, nourishment, purity of heart, environment — avoiding what harms the human's 'original state.' Ḥadīth of Abū Hurayra: 'Every child is born upon the fiṭra; then his parents make him a Jew, a Christian, or a Zoroastrian' (Bukhārī, Janāʾiz 92).
OBSTACLE
Environment, culture, habits — covering the fiṭra by saying 'this is just how I am.' In modern reading: digital noise, constant stimulation, the mind that has lost silence.
NEXT
Awakening — the voice of fiṭra is heard for the first time.
